The more I look into nighttime entertainment in Bournemouth and Poole, the more I am amazed at the quality and extent of it throughout Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn. Quite simply, it doesn’t matter what time of the year you select, Bournemouth and Poole is buzzing with activity.

The best place I have found to see what is happening in the night-time entertainment world of Bournemouth and Poole is the Bournemouth Council entertainment calendar. Simply choose a date by clicking and their site will display all the entertainments on that particular day. The calendar scrolls forward to cover future months too. Truly ideal!

At random, I selected midweek 22nd October 2008 and discovered events at Bournemouth Comedy Club, Organ concerts and Joe Pasquale’s Back on the Road at the Pavilion Theatre.

Further random clicks on dates in December, January, February and March 2009 also revealed extensive entertainment features throughout the Winter and Spring months.

I suspect that whatever is your particular interest, you are likely to find something to entertain you in Bournemouth or Poole by a simple Internet search. The Council run Bournemouth BIC and Pavilion Theatre are amongst the very best venues. They offer a wide variety of entertainment from large rock and pop concerts to exhibitions, opera, ballet, comedy performances and conferences for large or multi-hall meetings.

Added to all this are the natural delights of the extensive sandy beaches, the New Forest, Hengistbury Head and the simple joys of crabbing and Mackerel fishing at Mudeford Harbour.
